Supernatural forces on a strange stormy mystical island.

Shakespeare's classic tale of spirits, sorcery, monsters, maidens and a scheming nobleman shipwrecked on a mystical isle is brought to life through a rich lyrical score full of beautiful harmonies and musical colours that Ravel would be proud of. In true Elizabethan tradition, this finest of Shakespearean romances conjures real magic as it deftly moves from tragedy to comedy while pondering life's many vexing questions. All this and a happy ending!
