Event Description

After releasing some of the most praised and frightening extreme metal albums of the ’90s and the double-0s, Cradle of Filth finds itself in a league and a class of its own. The English act has produced such peerless examples of extreme metal craft as Dusk & Her Embrace, Cruelty & the Beast, and Nymphetamine—records of such blistering power that they have set the standard by which other extreme metal records are measured.

Thornography, the band’s latest, is proof that the ever-changing lineup has evolved into the most solid Cradle of Filth yet. Led as ever by Dani Filth, the new record is louder, harder, heavier, faster, and catchier than anything the group has done yet. And songs like “Tonight in Flames” and “I Am the Thorn”, in all their venomous, earth-shattering glory, are coming to stage near you as one of the most vital metal units ever embarks on another world-beating tour.
