Event Description

HAWKSLEY WORKMAN & THE WOLVES, K’NAAN and CHAMPION hit the stage with three of the hottest acts from the UK and Sweden December 02 in a free, all ages show at Georgia Plaza.
It all starts at 12 noon with an opening set by YUCA, the Platinum winner of the 2006 Seeds competition.

The first-ever transmitnow Block Party is part of transmission, a dynamic new international think tank with three critical pillars: a conference, artist showcase and outdoor festival. transmission is attracting leaders, creators and thinkers from the music and digital industries.

The transmitnow Block Party developed as a way to bring this international music experience to the streets of Vancouver while giving bands a chance to connect with fans and perform for new audiences.
