Seasons Of Sorrow

since circa 2001
Combining the emotions of power and black metal and adding a healthy dose of Celtic and classical influences to the mix, Seasons of Sorrow aims to provide an epic soundtrack to a land aflame with the torments of war and disease. Amidst the desperation there lies hope, prophecies that fortell the coming of an ancient god who will deliver humanity from the grasp of the demon lord Azenath and his plague-bearing minions. Continuously varied riffs, extensive leadwork, finger-plucking-galloping bass licks, polyrhythmic yet solid drumming, and eclectic vocal styles all encompass the atmosphere provided to the listener.
