Rockland Moran

Shawnigan-based bluesman Rockland Moran used to play “Fusegrass” style on his guitar, then shifted to open-tuned acoustic and made some physical adjustments to his instrument that gave him a spooky sound akin that of a steel guitar. Whether singing or performing instrumentals, Moran has a fusion of jazz and “roots blues” that is evocative and authentic.
