Reji LeFleur
Singer, song writer, guitarist Reji Lefluer is a multi-talented artist with an original and addictive brand of Rock, Funk, Soul & Blues. His unique guitar style and vibrant vocals represent an exciting and popular change to the music scene. Reji Lefluer has many musical influences from classical to pop.Reji came from a musical family and at an early age was influenced by his parent’s taste in music from Gospel, Blues, Rock and Soul to Classical. He would often play-along and mimic songs off the radio in front of family and their guests. At the age of 14 Lefluer wrote his first song and within a year began writing original compositions for local artists.
Reji began his professional career playing piano and guitar around his hometown of Seattle, Washington in the early nineties. During those days, among his many professional appearances, he opened for the Grammy Award-winning hip hop trio “Naughty By Nature” in Seattle’s Key Arena.
In the late nineties, Lefluer began traveling to broaden his horizons and learn traditional and world music. He ended up in Asia and while living in Jakarta, Indonesia started a local band. While in Jakarta he and the band played at concert venues and events including the Bale, JakJazz and Java Jazz Festivals. Reji also performed on both radio and television, including commercials for Ace Hardware. During his travels LeFluer has collaborated with artists from varied backgrounds in music and ethnic genres from around the world.
