Permanent Frequency
Indie alt-progressive rock from Victoria BC
Broken Up - Confirmed:
Apr. 29, 2009 (Archived)
How do you even begin to describe the music of Permanent Frequency? Let's put it this way: imagine a musical orgy between Pink Floyd, early Genesis, Radiohead, The Beatles, Supertramp, The Band, and Steely Dan (remember this orgy takes place amongst these bands' music, not their band members. [shudders at the thought]) In the aftermath, the music of Pink Floyd mothered an illegitamate lovechild (God knows who the father is.) That lovechild is Permanent Frequency.
Consisting of Caroline Spence Band members Adam Basterfield (guitar and vocals) and Ursula Fox (keyboards), as well as singer-songwriter Blake Hamilton (bass and vocals), Permanent Frequency has commenced their mission of world conquest. We shall be kings! Kings dammit!!!
