Pianist Marc Bourdeau has performed in concert and on disc with some of the finest Canadian singers of his generation, including Kevin McMillan, Agathe Martel, Brett Polegato, Karina Gauvin, Sharon Coste and Jean-Fran�ois Lapointe. He has accompanied master classes given by acclaimed singers Peter Schreier, Thomas Hampson, Jorma Hynninen and Hughes Cu�nod. He has appeared in North America, Europe, the Far East and South America, with engagements at the Ravinia, Montpellier, Lanaudi�re, Budapest, Maracaibo, Sendai and Karlsruhe festivals. He also regularly plays chamber music with principals of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.Mr. Bourdeau studied in Geneva, London and New York, where his teachers included B�la S�ki, Paul Hamburger and Roger Vignoles. He is guest professor at the La Chaux-de-Fonds Conservatoire (Switzerland), director of the Liederkreis Society (Montreal), and has taught on summer courses in Scotland, Canada and Switzerland.
Marc Bourdeau will offer private coaching and master class sessions to singers and collaborative piano students. He will also be the Music Director for the Summer Serenata Student Chamber Music Recital on July 14, 2004.
