At 15 years old, Kalissa Hernandez has received much recognition for her hard work whether performing or competing and is the current BC Provincial Fiddle Champion. She is the youngest person to ever have won this title. Kalissa represented BC at the National Fiddle Contest last summer in Ottawa (the competitors are by invitation only) and also performed at the Ottawa Folk Festival with her sister Ivonne.
