Vancouver-based vocalist/pianist Jennifer Scott is a rare find. Possessed of a pure and flexible voice that’s made for jazz singing, Scott’s solid and swinging piano chops are icing on the cake. Her latest CD, Emotional Girl, exemplifies Scott’s rare mix of great technique and deep interpretive skills. With Bill Coon guitar, Rene Wprst bass, Dave Robbins drums.
