Wanted: Band for Free School Show

| utopian society User Info... | We're organizing a concert at Belmont Secondary as a sort of end-of-the-school-year celebration, and we're looking for a band that would be interested in playing. We've held this kind of event in the past, and the students really enjoy them. It will be held outdoors during lunch hour and is free to all students. We aren't looking for any specific genre, but at the same time we're trying to avoid anything too extreme (for example, grindcore probably wouldn't be the best bet for this kind of show). The show will be held sometime between May 17 and June 4; date is flexible but Mondays and Thursdays are preferable. The main catch for the show is that the school is on a very limited budget, and since we don't charge students there's very little money to pay for this sort of thing. Thus, our entire budget is being put towards the PA system. However, school shows can be a valuable way of getting a lot of exposure for your band - and seeing as Belmont has nearly 1600 students, that's a lot of attention. These shows are a lot of fun for bands and students alike, and are a great way to spread the word about your band.
