Thanks to all that made some racket during our set. You rawk! Joint Chiefs played a solid thrash metal set. Forced Entry sound with a cooler attitude. If you missed these guys then dont next time. Gallows drummer partied with these guys till dawn. God damn Vancouver long hairs corrupting our fragile Victoria youth! Fuel Injected 45 played a heavy metal rock set fronted by ghoulish female vocals. Lets give a 'welcome back' to Darren K and 13 Flames Productions! - Mon, 27 Jan 2003 12:53am

Hey, good fun!
Missed Gallows due to some pointless detour I "had" to make before heading down. I'll be seeing these young punks more than I can stand anyhow.
The Joint Chiefs were great! Full of energy. Much different than when Denton first gave me their demo tape years ago. Great stage presence and the wireless system sure allows for more movement into the pit whilst playing guitar. Their music was mosh inducing as well. Good buddies and highly recommended. They will be back without a doubt!
Fuel Injected .45 was a nice surprise as well! I had seen their previous incarnation in Vancouver a while back as "Mothra". That was not my thing at all. They did an excellent job on this night, however! The vocals are more aggressive now and the music is tighter and way more interesting. Plus you can't pass up seeing Stu play his Warwick with that killer tone! Damn, I want one of those.
Got a good buzz on. Thanks to Lorralien for hooking me up with the firewater! I owe you, but you owe me anyhow. hahaha
Fuck off, everyone of you. - Mon, 27 Jan 2003 1:26am
lily_liquor Is Ani Kyd the singer for Fuel Injected 45? I started drinkin at 3pm and, needless to say, didn't make it to the show. Is Mark from HURT their drummer? (Go see his little bro's band ASSERTION in a couple weeks!) Thanx, I'm outta the looop. - Mon, 27 Jan 2003 1:38am

Good show, nice guys. Drank till dawn, fell asleep around 7am, and woke up at 9am to go on a road trip.

Their cd case with the zig zag in it and "break in case of emergency" under the cd is fucking cool as hell. - Mon, 27 Jan 2003 7:24pm
