The Hampton Concert Orchestra, which began as a small group of seniors in 1967, has grown in recent years to become a well- known community orchestra. The orchestra is a member of the Hampton Silver Threads. Rehearsals are held at the Les Passmore Seniors Centre Monday evenings from September through June. In it’s second year under the leadership of conductor and music director Patricia Olfrey the orchestra has grown to 52 members. The orchestra is always looking for new players, especially strings and is open to players of various ages.
