" Empty Flask " is a new Celtic rock band fighting all the current trends by blending Bagpipes and rock music into a high energy, Celtic influenced rock sound.
Combining various musical backgrounds, Empty Flask creates a vibrant new sound of their own. Crossing many genres, appealing to the Celtic traditionalist to the rock, pop , and folk audiences.
Hailing from the Barrie area in Ontario Canada, the band enjoys performing year round at local pubs, and Celtic festivals, donning kilts and playing for the love of music.
Empty Flask covers such bands as : Great Big Sea, Spirit of the West, Rawlins's cross , and Seven Nations, as well as their numerous original tunes and future hits. Empty Flask has also adapted traditional Irish and Scottish tunes and enhanced them with drums and guitars for a new danceable and singable song that everyone is sure to enjoy.
