El Wehda

The El Wehda Ensemble was originally formed in 2007 to perform live Middle Eastern music for the Aiewa School of Cultural Dances. The two groups collaborated for a number of public events and private functions. The band appreciates the variety of exotic melodies and rhythms originating from Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Their 2008 debut CD covered a wide range of music from Morocco to Turkey. The El Wehda Ensemble currently performs their own shows to enthusiastic audiences around Victoria.
