Hi there,My name is Courtney Standing. I moved here 8 months ago and have performed at pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops with a guitar player. I've performed for larger venues as well, such as Festival place and the Winspear Centre in Edmonton, AB. To start, I am hoping to perform at least once per week. I have a small set list of songs and originals which include artists like Ed Sheeran, Joss stone, Gnarls Barkley, Adele, Sara Bareilles, Pink, Melanie Fiona, Hozier, India Arie, Leona Lewis and more... I would like to add more depending on the interests of the musicians I form a small band with, as well as work in original songs.
I'm looking to have fun and seeking musicians with a passion for soul, jazz, folk, and other popular songs we can turn into our own renditions, perform live, and post to YouTube.
I have a room in my place to rehearse and I'm a full-time professional painter/artist so I have an interest in video and expanding onto social media platforms.
