The Mobile Food Rodeo debuted as the largest showcase for mobile food trucks on the west this past September with over 7,000 people in attendance in its first year. This year offers two amazing events in May and September with over 30 local food trucks participating and over 5 new year round events throughout Washington.
Following in the footsteps of the nation’s popular mobile food festivals like the LA Street Food Fest and Portland’s Eat Mobile, our team is rounding up the best street food wagons in the Seattle, Portland and now Idaho city limits to discover twice a year. In the past two years, the northwest’s mobile food renaissance has led the way to next wave of top chefs; helping to open some of Seattle’s hottest new restaurants; from the poutine fries at Skillet Diner to the spam sliders at Marination Station; it has allowed them to open brick-and-mortar restaurants within the past year.
The festival offers audiences the chance to sample over 30 food trucks with some of the northwest’s most refreshing menus and allows them to experience the next wave of chefs and culinary prospects. It’s no wonder it’s the talk of the town and expected to be Seattle’s next big thing for foodies.
This year, Mobile Food Rodeo offers some added improvements starting with free admission, charity beer garden and a larger seating area for attendees to enjoy their mobile food all day long.
This deliciously-fun “one-stop-shop” continues to grow this year with over 10 new trucks. The Mobile Food Rodeo aims to spotlight the stars of street food; the hardworking, micro-businesseses that keep Seattle’s foodies fed year round by bringing thousands of people across Seattle to discover.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
