Jennifer Horn studied vocal jazz performance and composition at Grant McEwan University in Edmonton. She released an album of original songs with Greg Johnston, Shelf Life, in 2003.Jennifer has played in a variety of spaces performing cover songs and her own music and even musical shows. She is happy to perform whenever she can.
Mike Haisell is a trained guitarist and vocalist playing in bands in and around Victoria. His teacher was Sherman Sheldon who has taught many guitarists over his more than 50 years in Victoria including Jesse Roper. He can play any style of guitar including jazz, folk and pop, using a variety of guitars in various tunings. Mike even plays a little harmonica.
We call ourselves Kingside as we live and rehearse on Kings Rd. We love to sing together and play with different harmonies. We have been rehearsing together for about a year. A partial list of songs includes:
