Come spend the evening with us for some killer ambient drone pop from Saskatoon/Montreal's Lying Light in the Quiet and Victoria's own spacey psych-pop duo THE BACKHOMES!! Feel free to dig around for that vinyl you've always been looking for!

Lying Light in the Quiet begin our guided tour through space mid-flight. As we soar above a sea of recognizable sounds we realize we've been here before - only the colours are deeper. Suddenly we are no longer above the ocean but instead below it. And as the waves of texture roll around us we begin to breath...as if for the first time.

The Backhomes describe themselves as “Scruffy, Spacey, Psych Pop.” They are indeed that, and a whole lot more! The duo is a captivating blend of dark electro atmospherics mixed with melodic British style shoegaze that’s not afraid to mix thick guitars and powerful soaring melodies along with commanding keyboard wails.
