Cellist Kevin McFarland brings a unique depth of insight to the sweeping microtonal essays of Radulescu and Sabat, while chamber works of Lim and Lou sustain the threads of lyricism and processual advancement in forms both vibrant and engrossing — iterations of McFarland’s creative practice tethering together and reflecting inner and outer frames.
