Kjel Anderson

I've been writing songs and playing in bands since I was 16. I'm looking for musicians who are interested in doing something unique. I've got hours and hours of originals, and I would like to use some of that material to form a band. For about five years I fronted various bands in California focused around material that I wrote. Arrangements were done as a group. I'm looking for musicians who are interested in collaborating on material.

I'm not particular about what instruments the band will have in it. I'm open to anything that sounds good. For the last several years I've been recording material using my computer, programming drums, and doing other electronic stuff. This has been a huge departure from my largely folk-rock roots. I believe that this is the best time ever to be making music, and that the availability of computers for use in recording and composition mean that we are only limited by our imaginations. I am looking for partners to help me create something unique. If you feel like you are interested and would like to contribute, don't hesitate to contact me, regardless of what your past musical experience might be.

My ultimate goal with this project is to self-produce a CD and perform locally, perhaps twice a month.
