The beat goes on all day Saturday starting again in beautiful Centennial Square starting around 12:30pm with a first time appearance by Victoria's Esquimalt High Jazz Ensemble. Zsolt Sandor will perform an awesome solo acoustic performance and Vancouver's The Hoodwinks will join the Esquimalt High Jazz Ensemble for this very special afternoon prelude to what will be to come later on at night.

Esquimalt High Jazz Combo

Under the inspired direction of teacher Ross Ingstrup, Esquimalt High’s jazz program has been graduating skilled and enthusiastic musicians – many of whom have been empowered to go onto professional musical careers. This year’s featured combo is Victoria-Rose Hunt trumpet, Mackenzie Barry keyboards, Tom Charles drums. more info

The Hoodwinks (Rocksteady/Dub/Ska/R&B)

The Hoodwinks are a 4 piece Rocksteady/Dub/Ska/R&B band made up of drums, bass, guitar, keyboards complete with two part vocal harmonies. Their tunes are powerful and soothing at the same time. Zsolt Sándor
