Barney has a new album coming out on True North records called "Gift Horse"
August 29th of 2006. It has been 9 years since his last effort "Till Tomorrow" which
came out in 1997. Live in concert, Barney will be accompanied by Leslie Alexander
(guitar, vocals), John Ellis (steel pedal guitar, vocals), and other special guests To be

Barney Bentall has been making records for more than 20 years. An well seasoned
performer as well, Barney has toured Canada from coast to coast countless times.
With two dozen hits and a handful of gold records later, Barney now performs his
favorites (and fan favorites) that showcases his more introspective and melodic side.

In the last two years of performing in this style and configuration, fans are enjoying
the fresh sounds of familiar songs. Fans are also discovering what a great lyricist
Barney is in his new songs.

When he’s not selling out shows or entertaining our troops in Bosnia, Israel, or
Egypt, Bentall oversees a 200 head cattle operation on his ranch in the rugged
Cariboo sector of British Columbia.
