Event Archive - Knacker's Yard

Sat. March 12th 2016 Caleb Pike House (All Ages)
7:30 - 9:30 doors at 7:00
Knacker’s Yard performs primarily traditional Celtic and English folk songs, instrumentals and ballads dating from the 1600’s up to the 1960’s.

This six musicians band brings to stage: tenor banjo, five-string banjo, bodhran, mandolin, steel-string guitar, vocals and electric bass guitar.

You will immensely enjoy listening to Knacker’s Yard! The band brings in elements from the youthful urban revival of traditional music and also from the humble, stripped down presentation such as can be found on many of the more traditional singer / songwriter albums of the 1960’s.
