Event Description

Rollie Barrett and Brad Robinson have been performing well over 100 shows a year in popular pubs, bars and other venues in Victoria and Vancouver Island. They’ve built their local following on brilliant renditions of nostalgic folk/rock classics and Canadiana from such artists as Bob Seger, Gordon Lightfoot, Blue Rodeo, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Neil Young and many many more. Their performances bring a warmth to the hearts of all in attendance who hear the familiar hooks of diamond cuts like “3 A.M.”, “Five Days in May”, “Harvest Moon”, “Give a little Bit”. Just when you think your on the exit ramp of memory lane they take you higher with the rarely, if ever covered “Diamonds on the Souls of her Shoes”, “Late in the Evening”, “She talks to Angles”, “Wild Nights”, “Wild Horses”. This band specializes in creating a warm fuzzy on a hot summers night…(no Meat Loaf…yet).
Rollie Barrett is a commanding vocalist with a powerful range able to resonate (to a tee) those wonderful Seger Ad libs of “Night Moves” to the resounding cry’s heard on “Into the Mystic”…he will surely “Rock your Gypsy Soul”… Brad Robinson (Drums and Vocals) keeps it all in line with sticks, brushes and the palms of his hand and will cover the likes of Jon Bonham to Ladysmith Black Mombaza (Yes they are a 35 piece Kenyan band). Brad also lends so killer lead vocals and harmonies.
