Cookeilidh is a 4 member Celtic band residing in Victoria, BC. Driven by a passion for the timeless and traditional music of past generations, their tunes hail from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and Newfoundland.

Playing a variety of instrumental, high-energy jigs, reels, polkas, strathspeys and aires, along with some traditional and original vocal numbers, they enjoy creating our own special blend of “Trad with Attitude”.

The name "Cookeilidh" hails from the old Gaelic spelling of “Ceilidh” which means “kitchen party” or “musical gathering”, and that is the atmosphere they strive to create.
