Wed. August 1st 2012 Hush (No Minors)
10pm - 2am doors at 10pm
Presented by: Face First Entertainment
Whenever these three manage to come together for a night the flow of the music is pretty much perfect. I guarantee that when you arrive at 10 you'll stay right til' 2.

Moving dance floors all across Vancouver Island with his mixed varieties of Drum n’ Bass and Breakbeats. Starting his DJ career in 2004, Spoon has quickly rose to be one of the “Next Up and Comers”, affiliated with some of the larger Breakbeat Promotion crews, Breakbeat Island, 4the Music, 420 Kru and DB mint. Your not gonna know what this Boy is gonna Throw at You Next, he is not one to be missed!

Matt Dezine has been bathing in drum and bass for over ten years, seeking out a fusion of sexy dark funk and developing a penchant for hard bass and kicking ass. Skilled at fighting off attacking velociraptors while throwing down some of the hugest drum riddims you'll ever hear. Holding down a three year strong monthly at Hush nightclub as one third of the cataclysmic Dreadsteppas has minted his technique to a razors edge. Sonically forging together an new breed of sound, this beat juggernaut isn't afraid to do things differently in the studio. Always striving for the marring together of melodie and destruction, like angels shitting chainsaws. There are only two things this auditory wizard doesn't like, that group in the back not dancing, and people who talk in the third person...
you know who you are.

Audrey 'Deerface' first fell in love with electronic music culture when she moved to Victoria 3 years ago, and began attending as many shows as possible. Inspired by local DJs and producers, as well as big-name acts, she bought her own Technics 1200s in 2010. A mere 5 months later, she landed her first club show opening for Victoria locals, The Dreadsteppas. Deerface loves to spin Deep and Heavy Dubstep and Drum n' Bass, describing her style as 'Dark and Sexy, also a little Mischievous and Playful.' With the goal of bringing some powerful feminine energy to the electronic music scene, and a blossoming fan-base, Deerface is an "Up-and-Comer" to keep an eye on!
