Funk'N Ruff . aka. d-Set & Neo1

With a combined 22+ years of experience these two have been throwing down the dirty beats and basslines together since the beginning of the decade (Jan 2000) Its always a special treat to witness the talents of these two destroying dancefloors with their epic 2x4 and tag sets.. If you have ever been lucky enough to witness one of these sets you will agree, with their immense knowledge of basslines these two surely know how to please the crowd ! Highlights from these two range back to headlining the Pressroom in Nanaimo back in '02-'03, stealing the whole crowd from the mainstage at Blumpy's Beat ('03) and numerous opening gigs for many of Vancouvers finest inc. Cookies n Cream, Wood n Soo, Form n Kaos. These two started some production together 2001-03 but within the past year they have started to blow up with their production skills. You can listen and download tracks produced by this duo below

CHEMIKAL..... (a.k.a. Ben Hodding),

was born and raised in Duncan BC, and constantly surrounded by music from a young age. After several years of piano lessons, he went on to play guitar, drums, and any other instrument that was just laying around. It wasn't long until Ben found himself in the middle of a Vancouver Island rave, and saw some Electronic DJing first hand. That was all it took to get him hooked on the idea of collecting his own vinyl and perfecting the art of the mix. Buying up Nu-Skool Breaks and Drum n’ Bass at first, then, several months later, he got into Speed Garage, 4x4, and 2 Step, which became his signature styles. Shortly after that, Ben started producing his own Bassline 4x4 tracks, and after tonnes of bootleg remixes and originals, got signed to Bassment Projex, FX Logiks new digital bassline lable, as well as Nu Industry Recordings, which aims to bring out the filthiest electro, fidget and bassline sounds around, both in late 2008. Recently Ben has broadened his styles in his live sets to include Dub Step, Funky Breaks, Hip Hop and Glitch, guaranteeing his listeners a plethora of genres, original tracks, live mash ups.... and a good time.

Drink specials in effect!
