A cornucopia of Conservatory choirs performs in concert.

Hear the Bel Canto Singers, directed by Catherine Young, with Stephen Shields, piano; Ensemble Sine Nomine, directed by Nicholas Fairbank; and the VCM Children's Choir, directed by Elizabeth Shannon Brown.

The Children's Choir will present a variety of songs, including Hungarian and Jewish folk songs. The Bel Canto Singers will sing music from the Messe Basse by Gabriel Fauré. They will also present the premiere performance of My Life After Your Death, by Victoria composer Leila Lustig with poetry by Barbara D. Holender.

Ensemble Sine Nomine will perform a programme of secular Spanish music from the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance, featuring composers Matias de Durango (17th c.), Juan Vasquez (ca. 1500-1560?), and Johannes Cornago (ca.1425-1475?).

Tickets: $10 in advance / $12 at the door
