Metapop will play their own arrangements for string ensemble, of many Kinks' hits and obscure gems. Special guest vocalists include Marcus Pollard, Veronica Tangent, and others.

After the concert, Metapop will record a live overdub session to a new remix of the Kinks' classic 1969 album "Arthur, or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire", replacing the brass band arrangements with strings. This will be sent to Ray Davies as a present for his 65th birthday. The audience is invited to stay for this recording session.

A petition will be circulated during the show demanding that the AFM (American Federation of Musicians) offer the Kinks an official apology for the US ban they imposed from 1965-69, which nearly detroyed the Kinks.
