A rare opportunity presents itself as Dr. Theremin performs some freeform electronica on the legendary ground-breaking instrument.
Since gaining notoriety in Miklos Rosza's creepy soundtrack to Hitchcock's classic Spellbound (with the infamous dream sequence by eye-ball slicin' Spaniard Salvador Dali), the Theremin has become an iconic feature of the cinema.
Almost extinct, after a brief revival in Tim Burton's Mars Attacks and Ed Wood, and despite a terrific documentary, you can hear it performed live for perhaps one last time.
Dr. Theremin has performed on his namesake instrument with the Victoria Symphony, and local rockess, Veronica Tangent. A MUST HEAR EVENT!
