Michael Donovan was born into a family of Montreal musicians and graduated from McGill University. Later, studies took him to Germany, where he began a successful career in opera. Since returning to Canada in 1996, he has been touring to great acclaim all over North America, conducting master classes and performing as a soloist and recitalist.

Stéphan Sylvestre holds a Master’s degree from the Université de Montréal and an Artist Diploma from the Royal Conservatory in Toronto. He is very much in demand as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber music player, both in Canada and the United States. He has also played extensively in Europe. Stéphan Sylvestre now teaches part-time at McGill University.

The programme includes music by Franz Schubert as well as Italian songs and Irish folk songs.

"This is surely a great pianist in the bud… his natural talent reminds one of the great Arthur Rubinstein…"
