The Combo is made from Victoria's most talented jazz/rocksteady/ska/reggae/dub musicians.

Jules Charles (also from Eep Op Orp, Noah Becker Quartet, The Abolitionists and the Bombasts) ---- on drums

Daniel Tate (also from Noah Becker Quartet) - -- on keyboard

Christian - (from the Bombasts) --- on bass

Combine these three musicians with Chris Murray's solid vocals and you get a band that will be the talk of many cities and towns across Canada as they get ready to embark on their national tour at the end of September 2002.

This Victoria show will mark the grand finale of their national tour! Jules, Dan and Christian are excited about this tour as well as other ska/rocksteady/reggae/dub fans in Victoria. This is not to be missed. For more information visit Chris Murray's web-site.

Remember, Chris Murray has a brand new CD coming out called "RAW" which features guest appearances by Alex Desert & Deston Berry (Hepcat), Neville Staples (The Specials) and Go Jimmy Go. In Canada, "RAW" will be released by Stomp Records. Asian Man Records will release the album in the US. And Moon Ska Europe will take part in the festivities there.

Opening for the Chris Murray Combo will be Kia Kadiri accompanied by One Drop Dub Reggae Band. Kia will be sure to impress us as usual with her mixture of spoken word, singing and lyrical styles over any kind of music. - This time she'll be singing with dub/reggae riddims and anything else One Drop and her can concoct!
