Out of blazing late night sessions and a passionate urge to watch Babylon fall are the good people from Uprite dub Orchestra. Formed in 2001, they have taken over the West Coast ever since with their signature brand of heavy dub, driving horns, infectious hooks, and gang-style vocals reminiscent of the Specials or the Beastie Boys. Uprite dub Orchestra is a professional powerhouse, highly trained in the art of ‘ass from seat’ separation and ‘feet to dancefloor’ unification. Uprite Dub Orchestra will make their second appearance in three years at Victoria's 8th Annual Ska Festival since their last appearance back in 2004 at Victoria's 5th Year Anniversary Festival.
