SNAFU Dance Theatre
“Theatre with a serotonin kick” - PLANK Magazine
“Fresh and daring . . . Ingrid Hansen’s SNAFU Dance Theatre is one to watch out for.”– Monday Magazine
SNAFU’s mandate is to collectively create original live theatre and dance theatre that gives voice to those communities and individuals who have been marginalized, oppressed, ignored or forgotten. We strive to develop work that invigorates and challenges people of any age. We endeavor to foster an open, accepting, inclusive, queer-positive, open-hearted environment for creative risk-taking during both the creation process and performance. It is also our objective to craft exciting visual design with a low ecological footprint.
SNAFU was founded in 2006 by Victor Dolhai, Ingrid Hansen, & Sarah Jane Pelzer, and is currently headed by co-artistic directors Kathleen Greenfield and Ingrid Hansen.
