NOTES: The Victoria Conservatory of Music opens its doors to the community with the 2005-2006 Faculty Concert Series. With a full concert featuring the original compositions of our finest faculty performers, there is something for audiences of all ages and tastes. A perfect way to spend a summer afternoon, while also supporting excellence in our musical community.
This concert presents chamber works by Victoria Conservatory of Music composers: Nicholas Fairbank, Wes Wraggett, Stephen Brown, and David Clenman.

Walter Mony - violin
Larry Skaggs - cello,
Nancy Washeim - soprano
Nicholas Fairbank - piano.

Stephen Brown (roots jazz, blues, country, folks, and rock)

Stephen Brown sings roots jazz, country, blues, folk, and rock, accompanying himself on the piano and guitar. more info

Nancy Washeim (Classical)

Born in Toronto, soprano Nancy Washeim received her Master of Music degree from McGill University with a specialisation in early music vocal performance. Engagements have included Bach's Magnificat with the McGill Baroque Orchestra, Vivaldi's Magnificat and Beatus Vir with the St. Lawrence Choir, and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana with the McGill Symph... more info
