Cabaret Voltaire Diversions & Velvet Rut Records Presents:
A night of modern Garage Surf Rock...and the celebratory release of the much-anticipated Bad Hoo / Scrunt Brothers split 7" vinyl (VRR007).

Come out for the ginchiest night of the summer and let's see if we can make this THE Endless Summer we have all been hoping for!

It will be a search for the perfect riff. Between Cold Creature, the Scrunt Brothers, and Bad Hoo there will be too many perfect riffs to settle on just one...

And don’t you forget while you're groovin’ away to pick up a copy of 'HaHa Munny' -- the new 7" split featuring Bad Hoo and the Scrunt Brothers (fka Clunt & The Scrunts). This lil black circle comes hot off the presses and is carefully curated by Victoria’s own boutique vinyl label Velvet Rut Records.

This is a summer surf-themed night, so feel free to dress up. And as an extra incentive there will be a tiiiight goodie for the best dressed!

Cold Creature- B-movie fuelled psych vibes, channeling the Mr. Weirdo in all of us.

The Scrunt Brothers- Damn fine dirty garage, at times schizophrenic, but never miss a beat

Bad Hoo- High octane surf punk bop-bop fun rock till you drop-drop, these boys ride their woody at 200 on their way to Jordan River (full disclosure: they're crap surfers)

Mr. Weirdo will be returning to provide state of the art psychedelic water art projections and visuals throughout the night!

&

These talented dancers are both independently acclaimed (The Velvet Unicorn) as well as being part of the boundary-breaking and mind- expanding Riot Grrrls Burlesque Revue! Truly a privilege!
