"Music for Holy Week" is one of six Lenten Concerts. I am excited to perform "The Confession Stone" (Seven Songs of Mary) by Robert Fleming, for the 3rd time for this series. This is an absolutely beautiful work written for Canadian contralto Maureen Forrester in the 1960s. Also in this concert is one of Pergolesi's most celebrated works "Stabat Mater", performed by my friends and colleagues, Marnie Setka-Mooney and Sara Partridge. Jim Hill will be on piano.

I encourage you to attend all of the beautiful concerts in this series.

Please bring your lunch :) Admission by donation with all proceeeds going to the Victoria Hospice Bereavement Fund. Thank you Catherine Young for presenting this concert series every year with many stellar musicians taking part.
