Event Archive - Poetry Workshop with: Adèle Barclay

Wed. February 15th 2017 Copper Owl (No Minors)
1630 - 1800
By Donation
For this workshop we are looking at some communal, creative, literary magic for folks of all interests and levels. This workshop is a playful, open invitation to anyone interested in writing in a setting that focuses on generative energy, experimentation, and sharing. I truly believe in the innovative potential of impromptu writing and group discussions.

For this workshop we will work through a couple of on-the-spot writing exercises and prompts to jolt us out of our habits and to explore some new directions. We'll connect over what inspires and frustrates us in the process.

Please bring paper, writing utensils, poems and sections of prose by authors who inspire you (to read aloud), and beloved objects for a communal altar.

This workshop is PWYC/$5 suggested donation/No one turned away for lack of funds.
