Event Description

South Islanders! Starting on March the 21st the Wes Carroll Trio will begin their slide down the island playing in Lantzville, Crofton and Victoria. Expect to hear new originals as part of this South Island Shimmy.

Dates:
March 21st - Lantzville: St Phillips 7113 Lantzville Rd. 8pm. $10 & $7.
March 22nd - Crofton: Crofton Hotel 1534 Joan Ave. 2pm. $10.
March 23rd - Victoria: Lacey-Lou Tapas Lounge Inc. 1320 Broad St. 8pm. $10 & $7.

Description:

These guys have a huge sound for a jazz trio. Patrick Courtin (organ) fills out the full sonic sphere with his bass-lines, chords and solos. Wes Carroll cuts through with his guitar and occasional vocal tune while Cyril Lojda (drums) champions the groove with his integral verve. The Wes Carroll trio stretches out into the world of originals and hip-hop rhythms while not losing their firm footing in modern/classic jazz and the blues.
