Leah Barley & The Converse Cowboys

Bluesy-folk singer/songwriter Leah Barley has been writing and performing for over eight years. After quitting her day job in September 2012 to pursue music full-time, she successfully ran a Kick Starter campaign in early 2014 and was able to record and release her second EP “Close Your Eyes” on July 1, 2014. Since then, she’s been touring up a storm.

For the past three years, the amazingly talented violist John Kastelic has been by her side bringing the songs more creative depth and gut wrenching soul. In June 2014, the hilarious and loveable instrumentalist Ross Christopher Fairbairn enthusiastically accepted the invitation to join in and the boys now fittingly call themselves The Converse Cowboys.

Sharing her stories of love, loss, and epic bike rides with fabulous tones and a ridiculous range that will make your hair stand on end, Leah Barley and the Converse Cowboys are not to be missed.

Bousada is a wandering farmer who loves playing music almost as much as he loves eating pizza. He draws inspiration from the world around him, especially the natural world, and has been writing and performing for 10 years. His music is lyrically driven, which is quite catchy and filled with tasty licks.
