San Francisco’s influential guitarist and IGN founder, Brian Gore will be joined by classical

innovator and fellow Californian Andrew York; Brazilian jazz master Diego Figueiredo and contemporary

Iranian-Canadian steel string prodigy Maneli Jamal for the 2015 North American Tour.

Grammy winner, Andrew York, is known for his work with the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and for his

own brilliant compositions. Diego Figueiredo is one of the most sought-after jazz artists in the United

States and around the world, and Maneli Jamal is a winner of guitar competitions around the world.

Brian Gore founded The International Guitar Night in 1995 as a forum for the world’s finest guitarists

and composers to play their latest original songs and share musical ideas with their peers in a public

concert setting. The artists perform solo and then in groups. The evening ends in a jam session featuring

all the performers on stage.

“We’ve hosted International Guitar Night at the Farquhar Auditorium since 2011,” says Farquhar

Director Ian Case. “The quality of the International Guitar Night concerts is top notch. We’ve seen such

exciting and inventive guitar work and it’s especially wonderful to watch these artists collaborate and

play together. We’re really looking forward to hear what this year’s ensemble has to offer. It’s sure to

be exhilarating and unique!”
