Event Description

Marble Pawns is simultaneously a four peice band featuring Graeme Clarke, Craig Penner, Jason Miller and James Duerksen, as well as the home recording project of Graeme Clarke. Whatever rendition of Marble Pawns you're listening to/watching, you're sure to be mused by dreamy psychedelic synth melodies, warm reverb drenched guitars/vocals and keleidescopic sounds capes of the future. Marble Pawns aren't bound to a specific asthetic however, as the dynamics of each song are sure to appeal to a different area of your musical pallet. Marble Pawns' music also reaches into the depths of a variety of concepts, sampling live audio clips that reference psychological Freudian theories, conptemporary sociology and much, much more. From punchy 60s throwback guitar riffs, to chord heavy weaving psych-pop songs, to slow and warm synthesizer lullabies, Marble Pawns are sure to cover all the basis required to take your mind to a different destination, all under a distinct flavor.
