The Pacific Training Centre for the Blind is proud to present Marcelina Stanton in concert. Tickets are just $15 at the door and all proceeds go to support the efforts of the Pacific Training Centre. We would like to thank Herman's Jazz Club, 753 View Street, for their sponsorship and support of this event.

About Marcelina Stanton:
Marcelina Stanton, born and raised in Chile, immigrated to Canada in 2000 and became a Canadian citizen two years ago.

'As a blind person, I believe that rehabilitation and the acquiring of blindness skills is probably the most important thing we can do to lead a successful and fulfilling life. The Pacific Training Centre is a wonderful avenue for blind Canadians to achieve those goals, that’s why I’m happy to contribute to its endeavours with my music.'

Marcelina Stanton (Traditional Latin and pop songs)

Originally from Chile, Marcelina has played guitar and been singing all her life. She directs the VIP Singers choir composed of mostly blind singers in Victoria.
