Sure, you've been partying all day, but you're already going to call in sick tomorrow, so why don't you cap off our national celebration with a great show from two great bands?

Girl Nobody, darlings of Canadian Music Week, fresh of their NXNE tour will floor you with their sultry sounds and stage presence.

GEORGIA STRAIGHT
NewMusicWest - "...under ice-blue lighting, Girl Nobody gives the most transcendent performance I see all weekend. Sporting a black dress and a white flower in her hair, Marta Jaciubek, the band's sultry-voiced singer, turns in a performance that comes off like eerie Berlin caberet. The music meanwhile, is a buzz-building blend of ethereal sweetness and shoegazer fury. I don't want to leave."

Ghost of Science, formally known as Johnny Action Figure, recent Zone Band of the Month and currently supporting their first CD [safe].

Well known for their live shows as Johnny Action Figure, this band has taken their music into a darker direction, due to their stint as The Bends, North America's only working Radiohead cover band. The new material is more experimental, sometimes brooding and always unforgettable.

Victoria's own DJ Mischiff opens the night and fills the quiet spots of the evening.

Advance tix are available at Lyles, Darcys and The Upstairs.

Don't miss this fantastic night of music!
