Since the summer of 2004 the makings of the show you see here have been in the works. It wasn't until the spring of 2008 at Festival Extremo in Guadalajara, Mexico (on tour with Los Furios) where direct contact was made with Los Kung Fu Monkeys. The horn player was near one of the backstage performer portables playing "Boys Don't Cry" when Dane from Victoria BC Ska Society went up to him and said, "Hey! Aren't you in Los Kung Fu Monkeys? If so I'm the dude that has been speaking to you for 4 years on myspace!" The horn player replied, "I am indeed. You're the myspace guy!"

So now finally Los Kung Fu Monkeys will be doing a one-off fly in specially for Victoria's 11th Annual Ska Festival.

They'll be joined by Melbourne, Australia's (Stomp Records Artists) THE RESIGNATORS. The band will be making an even longer trip all the way from down under to come. Big ups to Francis (lead singer of the group) for making the trip just to party at the festival regardless.

One Shot Left (Guitar Driven Hardcore With Melodic Sensibility)

By weaving unusual harmonies through a tight web of metal riffs, and laying it all out with a solid and dynamic beat, One Shot Left has created a refreshing brand of melodic hardcore. With the energy and intensity of a street riot, the band delivers a powerful sociopolitical message. "Restitution is one of the best pure punk albums of 2005, hand... more info
