Fri. May 7th 2004 8:00 pm Alix Goolden Performance Hall (All Ages) 8:00 pm
One of the greatest musicians of our time comes to Victoria for one concert only. Playing lira, rebab and vieles, Maestro Savall explores the rich musical traditions of medieval Spain, Galicia, Algeria, Italy and Sarajevo.

Jordi Savall is joined by daughter Arianna Savall, harp and vocals, and percussionist Pedro Esteven. A variety of dances and laments provides Savallís trio the scope to display a remarkable range of tone colours and immense instrumental virtuosity.

Donít miss this rare opportunity to hear the dean of Early Music, live, in Victoria.

"I rarely discuss perfection in musicÖ[but he] is the embodiment of musical perfection."
