Aventa performs their inaugural concert: Aventa Ensemble

Featuring Igor Stravinsky's Histoire du Soldat; Gilles Tremblay's Solstices and Le Signe du Lion; and Estelle Lemire's Empreinte.

The concert features Nancy DiNovo violin; Darren Buhr double bass; Risa McDonell flute; Keith MacLeod clarinet; Heather Chesley bassoon; Darnell Berg horn; Mike Herriott trumpet; Brad Howland trombone; Dave Humphrey percussion and Bill Linwood, conductor.

Aventa Ensemble

Aventa Ensemble was founded in 2003 to fill a need in Victoria for a professional ensemble capable of performing a wide range of repertoire. As well as promoting Canadian works, Aventa also programs new works from the international repertoire.
