BIO: Richie Woodland
Inspired to write music from the moment he got his hands on an axe, Richie isn’t your typical guitar-strumming singer-songwriter. He paid his dues on the road in the 1970s, composing music for and blowing a large-bore trumpet while travelling all over Ontario with a five-piece cover band. Behind the scenes he’s done sound engineering for numerous rock bands. But when Richie takes the stage, his characteristic inverted chords and gritty rock melodies with violin orchestration will let you know you are hearing an aural original.

So, it doesn’t matter if you’re young and wild — or older and wiser — you’ll enjoy hearing the unique sounds that flow from the river of music that is Richie Woodland.

Sidemen Wanted
I'm looking for a couple of good sidemen - sax/multi-instrumentalist, and drums - to grow from a solo act to a band. Live solo tracks uploaded here on LiveVictoria.com - and available on this page - give you a sample of the core Classic Blues sound. Your sax/multi-instrumentalist and drums will fill this out nicely.

Contact me by phone, text or email. Thanks for checking me out on LiveVictoria.com :)
