The Sooke Fine Arts Show gathers together the Vancouver Island region’s most talented artists in an exhibition of fine art that spans the spectrum. The eleven-day Show opens to the public, exhibiting 375+ pieces of artwork from the most highly skilled artists on Vancouver Island and BC’s Coastal Islands. Meandering through the stunning 16,000 square foot gallery, you will also enjoy all types of live music from classical to folk, bluegrass and jazz.

A wide range of outstanding works of painting, sculpture, glass, ceramic, fibre art, photography, jewellery and mixed media are presented to our panel of three jurors, who select exceptional pieces for recognition in each category. Over $12,000 in awards are presented to worthy artists. Eight major awards are granted to the winners in each medium. Also awarded are three juror’s choice awards; the Jan Johnson Memorial Award for Best Social Commentary; the District of Sooke Award; Design Committee Award; People’s Choice Award; Children’s Choice Award; People's Youth Art favourite and five Honourable Mentions.
